Community-owned energy · North Carolina
Chase Energy builds community solar co-ops and caretaker-managed energy-and-farming sites — putting affordable, local, resilient power back in the hands of the communities it serves.
What we build
Not corporate scale — community scale. Enough to really do some good, owned close to the ground.
Neighbors subscribe to a shared solar site and earn credits on their power bills — clean energy without needing panels on every roof.
Solar panels raised above the land, with real farming and pasture underneath. One parcel, two harvests — power on top, food below.
Each site is tended by a resident caretaker — housing and a livelihood in exchange for stewardship. Real people, rooted in place.
Why it matters
Centralized power is fragile and it answers to shareholders. Local, community-owned power answers to neighbors.
"Power is power — it belongs to whoever makes it."
Chase Energy exists to make it, and to keep it close to home.
For communities & landowners
Run a community, steward land, or want to bring a co-op to your neighbors? We'd love to talk — we're developing our first sites now.
